Responsible for budget preparation, review, fiscal analysis, effort reporting, regulatory research compliance oversight, and forecasting of extramural and department budgets. Monitor and maintain departmental, research, and project accounts associated with the annual operating budget. Departmental compliance expert on University policy and procedure for all department and research business processes. Independently serve as liaison and department representative to the Office of Research, Accounting and Financial Services, Business Contracts, and outside agencies including Federal and private sponsoring agencies as well as prime- and sub-contracting agencies. Provide highly complex financial and regulatory administration and analysis of cross-disciplinary extramural and intramural research proposals and awards. Independently develop and manage pre- and post-award processes and analysis for multi-investigator, multi-site, and multi-year research projects.
