Research in computer architecture focuses on the design, optimization and implementation of computer systems. At UC Davis, we conduct interdisciplinary research to bridge the gap between advances in computer architecture and important emerging applications such as machine learning, graph analytics and high-performance computing. Our work in this area includes parallel computer architectures, hardware security, memory system design, computer architecture simulation and energy-optimized computing systems.
