His research group VIDI is known for their remarkable research innovations in visualization design and incorporating machine learning and high-performance computing to achieve high level of usability. His research benefits almost all areas of business, medicine and healthcare, engineering designs, and scientific research as these studies and practices become increasingly data-driven.
