Professor Sadoghi‘s research spans all facets of distributed data management. He leads the ExpoLab Research Group with the aim to pioneer a resilient and sustainable data platform at scale, a distributed ledger centered around a democratic and decentralized computational model (Blockchain Textbook, Consensus Textbook, Apache ResilientDB (Incubating), JourneyOutlook/SlidesTalk/SlidesBitcoin RadioCodeHands-onWiki) that further aims to unify secure transactional and real-time analytical processing (Transaction TextbookL-StoreQueCC). We envision Apache ResilientDB to serve as a platform to foster creativity (e.g., projects). Additionally, we aim to explore the concept of consensus from moral, ethical, epistemological, and religious perspectives grounded in computer science (Ethics TextbookInterview). He remains dedicated to advancing discourse on artificial intelligence by critically examining its societal, educational, and research implications through a philosophically grounded ethical project and his service on the AI Council and AI Steering Committee.
